Under the Weather

I was in complete denial that the baby and I were getting sick because I haven’t gotten sick in years. I thought maybe we had allergies or something, but NOPE. Apparently, we had symptoms of the beginnings of a cold. Anyway, just wanted to note down what I learned in treating colds for babies.

Our pediatrician advised us NOT to give our baby cold medicine. Also read about it in this Huffington Post article.

1.) When the baby’s nose is runny, your best tool is the Nose Frida. Seriously, this is a GENIUS invention. Whoever made this is probably filthy rich. Processed with VSCOcam Processed with VSCOcam Processed with VSCOcam

2.) Set up a humidifier. Rockland was so mesmerized by the steam. It was so cute!

“What do you mean those aren’t clouds?”

3.) If the baby is irritable, try to soothe him and make him comfortable.

4.) Warms baths (couldn’t get a picture of that one)

5.) And lastly, support your spouse. My husband had to go to church alone & came back with my favorite food, empanadas, just so I didn’t have to cook! :D heheeheee What a sweetheart! I love him!  0222151504
