Halfway Mark!

We are finally at the halfway mark! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!

I’ve been using this app from Baby Center that’s been pretty helpful understanding the growth of our baby week by week. (www.babycenter.com) Right now, our baby is about the size of a banana! My baby bump is still kind of small though. I know I’ll probably regret saying this later, but I can’t wait till I get bigger!

20 wks Thankfully, every test we’ve done so far has come out with positive, healthy results. So, we’re extremely thankful to God that our child is growing and developing well.

Now that our baby can hear us when we speak, I’ve been trying to be more careful with my tone and attitude, ESPECIALLY AT WORK! I told my students, “Look. My baby can hear us now. So don’t make me raise my voice and stop yelling like monkeys.” Who knows. Maybe some of the chatterboxes and clowns will respond to my pregnancy card. Muahaha.  I know. I’m wicked.

Anyways, on that note, I’ve been singing this to our baby like a lullaby since we found out we were pregnant.

“May the Words of my Mouth” from the Sing Over Me album

And that really has been the prayer of my heart:

May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart
Bless Your name, bless Your name, Jesus
And the deeds of the day and the truth in my ways
Speak of You, speak of You, Jesus

Lord, will You be my vision, Lord, will You be my guide
Be my hope, be my light and the way
And I’ll look not for riches, nor praises on earth
Only You’ll be the first of my heart

God, please teach Sungjin and I to be loving parents to the child you’ve entrusted to us. We love you :)

Next post will be THE BIG REVEAL! Are we having a SON or a DAUGHTER??? Check back with us next week!
